Air Conditioner Maintenance

Cottonwood accumulation on the outside air conditioner coil can happen pretty fast when the trees are at their height of shedding. This type of restriction can cause breakdowns and/or diminished capacity. You might need more than bi-annual maintenance (twice a year) if you live in prolific cottonwood or other high-debris areas. Breakdowns due to debris blockages are not covered under installer or manufacturer warranty.

Some homes require air conditioner filter changes more frequently than others.

Where you live, how ‘tight’ your house is, pets and foot traffic all affect filter change frequency. A dirty filter can cause breakdowns or diminished capacity for your system. Breakdowns due to dirty filters are not covered under installer or manufacturer warranty. We recommend that you check your filter every month.
